The gentle but insistent tink-tink-tink of a silver spoon against a teacup carries through the crowd, followed by a clear, confident voice as Lioncourt addresses the gathered guests.

"Ladies, gentlemen, and other various but no less incomparable sentients, the main event of the party will begin shortly. If you have a coronation present for the Lady Lioncourt and have not yet placed on the central table, please do so now: everyone is likewise encouraged to take a seat on one of the benches if they wish to observe the ceremony."

The gift table already has a number of coronation presents on it, but last-minute additions may still be to come.

Raezenoth floats to the gift table and then deposits his gift for Lioncourt, neatly wrapped in simple paper, pulled out of nowhere in typical god fashion.

Anda lays a small sachet, tied shut in an intricate bow with a piece of string, with a card with her name and Linsa's in tidy handwriting attached on the table, then she and Linsa go find seats.

Inavet leaves a small box (labeled as from Inkspot) at the table, plain and unassuming.

Her gift deposited, Inavet goes and finds a place sufficiently far away from Prism to sit down to watch the coronation. She's out of the way, but a trained eye looking for her would be able to spot her.

Tyche darts over to the gift table and leaves a small translucent cube on it.

Especially if that trained eye happens to have seen her before. Her mask disguises her face well enough, but not her build or stride.

Also, this particular trained eye cheats at knowing things.

A man in a red suit walks up to her and bows. "Hello. I suppose I should introduce myself first, or we will end up thoroughly mutually paranoid of each other. I am Aisilian Rok'suchi, but you likely know me as Meletiti Entelecheiai."

The Vampire Ice Elementalist picks up the spellbook and places it on the table, in accordance with Sif Muna's wishes. On the cover is written: "Sif Muna's Guide on Earthen Creation".

"Well. Hello, I'm Inkspot. And you likely know my name already." She sounds amused. "Thank you for the help earlier."

Aisilian chuckles.

"Quite, yes. Though only because I realized it would be useful to spot your name on government watch lists and so on.

"It was no problem. What sort of aid would I be if I let you get killed within a two days of offering my help? Why, my reputation for omniscience might never recover."

He is very clearly teasing about his priorities.

Verdigris pulls a standard-issue portable cargo teleporter from his pocket and locates the item he was looking for in the Souleye's hold, then points the device at a space near the gift table where a large box - about six feet long and two feet wide and tall - slowly materializes.

Aisilian claps a hand over his heart. "But then who would I save alternate worlds from darkness with?"

Answer: Miles. But Aisilian has heard of infosec.

"Now there's a thought," Aisilian muses. "The Mage and the God and the World of Arabek. Though it seems to require rather less saving than some other worlds." He gives Inavet a wry smile at that.

"That should be on all of the worlds that don't cause people to explode. 'Our world doesn't make you explode! Come visit! Mind the murder!'"

Aisilian is quite content to sit there and wait. And chuckle.

After a while, though, he does have to ask: "Does your magic do... world-scale location-based magic like that? Could our Benevolent Oppressors try to, ahem, market themselves that way?"

Inavet's giggles subside, and she clears her throat to answer. "Mm. I suspect the answer is yes, actually. It - feels like a thing that's possible with the right skill set and some set up before hand. You've seen what we've done for fighting entropy. I suspect it'd be almost simple in comparison to make a - planet wide effect that explodes anyone that shows up unexpectedly. ... Which is horrifying. Great."

Aisilian nods, frowning slightly. "Charming, yes. Though, perhaps made a tad less obnoxiously lethal, may be useful for other purposes... The obvious solution, then, is to overwhelm the general ward with specific safe-zones, and to pass out the knowledge of the safe-zones to ... invited guests, shall we say.

"Well, they don't know about other worlds yet - but it seems a tad too optimistic to assume they never will."
