Aisilian appears to be giving up on words at this point.

It is not generally easy to manipulate a spell already in place. But he is Boundaries, and changing the extent of a spell on such a small scale is simple for him even in a foreign Truth.

The body in the power armour is unusual for a part of Orz; most of Orz is not embodied, and exists only as minds with the ability to sense and exchange information. He turns to Lioncourt and explains, "Orz says that they agreed to obey your instructions and are willing to do so, but leaving all at once through their usual method of transportation will cause widespread damage as a side effect of the large-scale imposition of foreign metaphysics, and they are confused about why you would want that." Glancing back to Orz, he adds, "My mother and I can provide gates if that will speed things up."

"Orz's supply of physical bodies is very limited, and it takes a large number of cooperating noncorporeal minds to operate just one of them," Miles translates. "Would it be acceptable to both of you if all of Orz's local minds were required to stay with a physical body even if the ratio was rather more than one-to-one? For that matter, I wonder how hard it is to create a body for Orz. That limited supply seems like a problem that could be solved with magic."
