The entry hall of Lioncourt's castle is a vast, gothic thing, with deep burgundy tapestries on the walls and matching carpet underfoot. The precisely-fitted masonry has been polished within an inch of its life, the dark stone gleaming sullenly in the insistently cheery light of the newly-installed electric lamps.

Within the high arches of the surrounding baulaustrades, two women intone the same spell, matching each other's cadence: A pale girl, looking little older than a child, and a tall, red-haired woman with serious slate-grey eyes.

As the last syllable fades, twin portals shimmer into existence: the first multiversal party in the Many Worlds is officially underway!

Lioncourt's castle doesn't exactly obey normal, sane rules of geometry: travel between its many rooms acts more on principles of 'where you want to go' than 'which door you opened.' Fortunately, the newly-crowned vampire queen has had the foresight to put up a directory, which her servants will update with directions to each new location within the grounds as the event progresses.

The directory indicates that you are currently in the Entry Hall.

An arrow pointing towards the double-doors at the far end of the hall indicates the path towards the Gardens, where tea is being served. (( http://kaolinandbone.dreamwidth.org/1112.html#comments ))

The coronation ceremony has now ended.

((OOC: Please do not reply to this thread if you are not Lioncourt. She doesn't want the guests to become lost.))

As the many multiversal guests are gated in, singly or in groups, a crowd slowly begins to form in the entry hall. Lioncourt looks up from her meditation break and claps her hands twice: in moments, a dozen automaton servants file out from the adjoining rooms, hands of gleaming white porcelain holding equally elegant china tea-sets. A pair of the automatons open the doors at the far end of the hall, revealing a tiered rose garden, the stone benches dotted here and there ringing a large central clearing.

"Tea is served, either here or in the gardens: I would appreciate it, however, if some of my guests might proceed onward so as to reduce crowding."
