Tea in the Gardens and Antechambers

As the many multiversal guests are gated in, singly or in groups, a crowd slowly begins to form in the entry hall. Lioncourt looks up from her meditation break and claps her hands twice: in moments, a dozen automaton servants file out from the adjoining rooms, hands of gleaming white porcelain holding equally elegant china tea-sets. A pair of the automatons open the doors at the far end of the hall, revealing a tiered rose garden, the stone benches dotted here and there ringing a large central clearing.

"Tea is served, either here or in the gardens: I would appreciate it, however, if some of my guests might proceed onward so as to reduce crowding."

Isabella nods seriously. "That is a very sensible suggestion, and I believe is already Leaf's policy on such things. I, of course, am not necessarily following Leaf's rules, but I do generally agree with his judgement."

"Mhm. Leaf generally has good judgement. Would you like to set up meetings in the future? And talk more over the forum? I don't want to monopolize you at your coronation party, it's hardly fair."

"That sounds like a very good idea. If you've met Leaf in person, you might also happen to have a more secure method of communication... but we can have that conversation later. It's been wonderful talking to you, but I need to attend to the main event at the moment."

Lioncourt focuses for six seconds as she walks away.

If nothing else, I can use my own QDS magic for one-way messages.

She hesitates, as Lioncourt walks away. Does she reveal her own QDS magic? Mmm. Best not, she thinks.

"I can access the forum anywhere," she sends with sound craft, to Lioncourt's ear. "Or do this. So I could likely reply."
