As the many multiversal guests are gated in, singly or in groups, a crowd slowly begins to form in the entry hall. Lioncourt looks up from her meditation break and claps her hands twice: in moments, a dozen automaton servants file out from the adjoining rooms, hands of gleaming white porcelain holding equally elegant china tea-sets. A pair of the automatons open the doors at the far end of the hall, revealing a tiered rose garden, the stone benches dotted here and there ringing a large central clearing.

"Tea is served, either here or in the gardens: I would appreciate it, however, if some of my guests might proceed onward so as to reduce crowding."

A god floats along, wondering who present is best to speak to.

He spots... A lump. In a tapestry. He tilts his head, and floats towards it. He refrains from lifting the tapestry up, but he does address the person hiding.

"From whom are you hiding?" wonders Raezenoth, god voice echoing in every language the hearer knows, and a few the hearer doesn't, but still perfectly intelligible.

The lump wiggles out of the tapestry a little farther.

"No one, but it's a really good place to watch from." She stares up at him. "You're flying!"

"Yes," he agrees. "Have you seen anything interesting, in your watching?"

"Yah, lots of people. One of them was little and furry. How do you talk like that? How are you flying?"

"I am a god. This is how I talk. It is possible for me to not talk like this, but it's hard." His voice changes, becomes flat and single-languaged (Kit's) and a little awkward. "For example, now I am not talking like that." His voice switches back. "But this is easier. I fly because I am a god that grants flight to my acolytes, and so my manifested form may also fly."

She listens solemnly. "Can I fly too?"

Raezenoth looks at her gravely. "I cannot make you an acolyte, but I can grant you a temporary ability to fly, if you wish."

"Yah! Please."

"Very well." He lands in front of Kit, kneels to an appropriate height (he is rather tall) and offers her his hand.

She blinks at him and puts her hand on top of his.

He casts fly.

"That will last for a little under twenty minutes. Please do not hurt yourself, and be mindful of when it will wear off."

She floats up a few feet and grins.

"Okay. Thank you!" She floats higher, then drops back down.

"...When it wears off do I fall?"

"You're welcome. Yes. So you should likely not fly too high. And you shouldn't leave the castle, anyway."

"Okay. I won't. I bet it will be good for exploring, though. I bet there are lots of places to explore here."

"Yes. But the layout changes. It is strange. I was exploring earlier, and kept finding nothing but corridors."

"It changes from what?"

"It doesn't stay the same from moment to moment. It changes based on where you want to go. So it will get you where you want to go quickly, but it doesn't lend itself well to exploring without a goal in mind."
