"Ladies, gentlemen, and other various but no less incomparable sentients, the main event of the party will begin shortly. If you have a coronation present for the Lady Lioncourt and have not yet placed on the central table, please do so now: everyone is likewise encouraged to take a seat on one of the benches if they wish to observe the ceremony."

Raezenoth looks at Linsa, then at Anda. "You will not offend me by speaking your mind. Either of you. Though you might if you habitually silence those that want to speak."

Anda grins, "Oh, I like you. I usually approve of speaking one's mind, but sometimes people get offended, so I try to be careful with strangers. Apparently it backfired in this instance."

Which has not been common for me from people outside the Householding. People outside the Householding usually at best overcharge massively for supplies, which is why we produce as many of our own as we an, at worst they have a tendency to try to kill(*), murder, or kidnap and then kill people I care about."

Linsa says "Friendly new people are pretty great."

*(Note: linguistic quirk, which would be obvious because translation spell and also god language thing "kill" refers mostly to causing death by draining a Gen's selyn (and a few other selyn related causes of death which are much less common and more complicated, let's just say that a Gen who knows what they are doing can fuck up a Sime pretty hard and sometimes fatally) "murder" is for any other cause of death)

"I'd feel terrible about just abandoning the mess actually, we'd like to *fix* the mess, because it's going to end up with the human race being wiped out eventually because they are going to *run out* of Gens, even taking into account that the Gen Territories currently have a larger population then the Sime Territories. This is math that has been done. And of course ignored by almost everyone outside the Householdings. But...we are outnumbered massively for one thing."
